Like a speeding locomotive, Christmas is barreling toward me, and I’m not ready for it. I still have gifts to buy and preparations to make, and I don’t know how I’m going to get it all done. Part of the problem is I’m trying to keep the writing going without missing a beat during the holidays…but I’m getting to the point where I’m going to have to miss a beat. Either that, or drop the ball holiday-wise and suffer the consequences. So it’s time to throttle back a little writing-wise before the Christmas locomotive runs me down and crushes the life out of me. Because let’s face it, the holidays only come around once a year, and it’s not asking too much to focus on them even if it means losing a little ground on other tasking. Right? So let’s get cracking!
