My first day back to work after the Oregon writing workshop was sure a doozy! From the moment I walked in to the moment I went home, the hits just kept on coming. Forget the long to-do list I already had programmed into my head. Instead, I had to drop everything and support a proposal that’s due Friday! Talk about your short-fuse assignments! It’s a good opportunity, actually, and I’m glad it’s come around…but I really wish I had more time to work on it. Oh, well. C’est la vie, right? Tomorrow, I’ll just have to put my head down and get my arms around this nightmare one way or another. See you soon.
