Yesterday, I wrote about how I’ll never mention a new project until it has actually seen print, or I’ve received some definitive final confirmation. Well, here’s another one I can talk about. An article of mine appears in the new issue of Star Trek Magazine, issue 16, dated March 2009.
The issue is dedicated to Star Trek: Voyager, and the article, “Final Authority,” focuses on the command style of Captain Janeway of the Starship Voyager. I just received my contributor’s copy in the mail today, so I guess it’s safe to talk about it here! It’s cool for me to have a Star Trek side project like this every once in a while, because I’m a big fan of Trek and always have been. I haven’t been active in Trek fiction for ages, so it’s cool to still keep my hand in that universe to some extent.
