I think it’s safe to say that my new audiobook, Day 9, is a unique listening experience. For one thing, the story will keep you guessing from start to finish. It’s a science fiction adventure set partly in the present day, as a mismatched trio (one of them a total nutjob) seeks a missing genius who just might save the world. The book also tells the story of a famous Spanish cathedral…in the cathedral’s own words. But maybe the coolest part of this audiobook is the wonderful narration by Michael Roger Lane. He brings every character vividly to life, from Quincy the Fanfic Filker to the Sagrada Familia Cathedral to the serial killer who thinks he’s a character from the cult classic 1970s TV series Weeping Willows (“The Waltons meets “Starsky and Hutch”). Seriously, Mike is an amazing talent, and I can’t wait till you hear him at work.
You can find Day 9 right here on Audible.com or right here on Amazon. You can also search for it by name on iTunes. Here’s the cover artwork by the inestimable Ben Baldwin:
