Sometimes, I get so busy, so wrapped up in the moments in front of me, that I forget to watch the calendar. I forget that something big is coming up in the near future, and then one day, I’ll look at the calendar or datebook or whatever, and there it is! And I’ll have one of those Homer Simpson “D’oh!” moments! Because I completely freakin’ forgot this big event on my schedule!
I had one of those moments not even five minutes ago, when I looked at my datebook and realized, “Holy crap! I’m going to Balticon next weekend!” Wow! It completely slipped my mind that I’m due to hit the road again so soon. It’s a good thing, because I do love Balticon…but it blows my mind that I forgot about it so completely. Anyway, I know it’ll be a great time! It’s the one con my wife and I go to every year, rain or shine, and we always enjoy it.

Maybe I’ll let slip a few tidbits about upcoming projects or I’ll clue you in to the full stories behind some of those travel photos I’ve been putting on the blog.
