I have an early start tomorrow, as an appraiser is stopping by to appraise the house in preparation for our refinancing. I’ve prepared as well as I can, so all I can do now is cross my fingers. Anyway, here’s hoping the appraisal goes well, and my focus stays strong on the novel. At least until tomorrow evening, when my brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and seven-year-old nephew come to town. They’ll be staying at our house, which means very little writing will be done from Thursday through Sunday. But that’s okay; this break has been expected. Hopefully, I can still shoehorn in some writing time anyway. Fingers crossed!
Tonight’s photo is from Lake Skaneateles in the Finger Lakes of New York, July 2002. See you tomorrow!
