What an experience! I just returned late Monday from the 9-day writing and marketing workshop in Lincoln City, Oregon! During the workshop, I wrote novel proposals, query letters, and over a hundred pages of notes typed on my laptop. I attended lectures from some of the most experienced and best-informed authors in the business and worked with some of the most talented and driven writers around. I can’t count the number of transformational moments, when the light bulb went off over my head, that occurred during this workshop. I learned so much, I have a feeling it will take a long time for it all to sink in. I came back with a bunch of fresh new ideas for books, a totally reenergized outlook toward writing, and a to do list the length of my arm. Next step: New York City in June.
