Though today was a terribly busy day, I did manage to get the ball rolling on my new short story! I did a lot of brainstorming, made some notes, then actually wrote over a hundred words to start the puppy! It doesn’t sound like much, but I promise, it was quite an achievement. It isn’t always easy to shift gears from a long-form project to a short-form one. Hopefully, I’ll be able to keep building on that start tomorrow and really get in the groove over the next few days.
