Today, I managed to score tickets to The Colbert Report for my trip to New York City in June! It wasn’t easy, either. The tickets are free, but the Colbert team only makes them available sporadically. I had to make sure I was watching the Colbert website between certain hours, constantly refreshing the page, watching for the dates I wanted. I think I got pretty lucky, though. I only saw three or four dates posted on the site this morning, and one of them was the exact date I wanted in June! Now I really can’t wait for my trip! Colbert’s hilarious!
Now for today’s photo. In honor of President Obama’s recent trip to England, here’s another shot from my Britain trip in 1992. This one features Old Coventry Cathedral, which was bombed in World War II and left standing as a memorial. I’m actually in the “inside” of the church in this shot. Pretty amazing place to visit.
