Well, it’s shaping up to be an unproductive weekend. At least the potential is there. We have company from out of town coming to stay at our house from Friday night through Sunday. I totally forgot they were coming till my wife reminded me, so now I’m looking ahead with apprehension. I’m in the middle of a story I’m writing on deadline, and I’d love to make some progress this weekend, but it could be tough. Guess I’ll just have to buckle down and find a way to get some work done, even if it means snubbing our company here and there. I’m sure they’ll understand. Being a writer means making some tough choices now and then, at the risk of looking like a jerk. Fingers crossed it’ll all work out. See you soon!
