Time for another change to this website. Today, I added a “Donate” button that will enable visitors to pitch in to bribe my muse. In other words, to buy chocolate “doubloons” for my wife, Wendy, who is most definitely a muse of high repute. Keeping her happy keeps me from walking the plank, and that keeps the novels and stories coming.
But really, I think you should get something else in return for your donation, so I’m going to try to add some fiction content to this blog. Whenever someone makes a donation, I’ll post a piece of fiction or poetry to the blog. It might be micro-fiction, it might be flash fiction, it might be a short story. It might be something from the archive. It might even be a novel excerpt, if the donation’s big enough. Yeah, I like that idea. I hereby declare it to be the law of the land…I mean law of the blog. So let’s see how this goes. Maybe it’ll take off, who knows? It will certainly encourage me to step up to the plate on this site, as I really like getting paid for my work (like everybody does, right?). Onward and upward. See you tomorrow.
