Saturday was Free Comic Book Day, which I celebrated in the best way possible: by taking my 8-year-old nephew to the local comic store to meet real, live super-heroes. We spent the afternoon at Bent Wookee Comics in Johnstown, where we got tons of free comics, posters, and souvenirs. Plus, we met Green Lantern, Spider-Man, and Hit Girl in person! Andrew got a huge kick out of it all, which made the event more fun than ever. He got all the heroes’ autographs, plus had his picture taken with them, as you can see. All in all, it was the best Free Comic Book Day yet! See you soon!
