My father-in-law, Bob Snavely, who went in for emergency colon surgery last week, is doing much better. He’s 90 years old, but he has handled his medical ordeal remarkably well. In fact, as of Sunday, he’s been moved from the ICU to a recovery room…still under care, still nowhere near a hundred percent, but doing fine. It’s helped that his kids, grandkids, and caregivers have swarmed the hospital to visit and support him. Here’s hoping he has a great week and continues to make progress toward a complete recovery.
