As the countdown continues to the July 11 release date of my novel, My Favorite Band Does Not Exist, reviews of the book have been popping up online. A great one just appeared on the Bookpage website, and will also appear in the hard copy Bookpage publication, which will be available at bookstores and libraries across the U.S. You can check it out right here. I love that the reviewer calls the plot “intricate and irreverent.” I also love that she refers to the novel as “part Spinal Tap, part Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and part its own surreal invention.” I’ll share some other swell reviews of the book as the countdown to July 11 continues.
