I have a story in a brand new book, available now! The book, The Trouble With Heroes, is an anthology from DAW Books, and it’s a blast! The theme of Trouble is telling the stories behind the heroes we know from myth, fable, and tall tale, showing that the heroes in many cases actually had feet of clay. My story, “Ballad of the Groupie Everlasting,” revolves around the Pied Piper. It’s told from the point of view of his first groupie, the muse Terpsichore, who made him a star…only to be kicked to the curb when the Pied Piper fell too much in love with his own fame.
