My Mom and Dad are returning Saturday after spending several months in Florida. It’ll be great to see them again, but still weird. When they’re gone, it’s like they were never here; when they’re here, it’s like they were never gone. I’m sure it won’t take long to get used to them being back, though. It’ll just be nice to meet them for lunch and talk face to face instead of over the phone. I’m also looking forward to riding bikes on the local trails with them. And having some home-cooked meals in Mom’s kitchen, of course. I already have the menu ready to order. See you soon.
