This is the weekend for taxes! I hereby pledge this solemn oath: no matter what happens, I will finish or at least make significant headway on my taxes. After weeks and weeks of putting them off, I will finally kick them down the field and get this enormous monkey off my back! Because it’s driving me crazy. Week after week, I’ve been promising to tackle my taxes, but something has always come up to push them back another week. But enough is enough. I will make a run at my taxes, even if it means I miss some writing. Because let’s face it, folks, the clock is ticking!
But before I get to the taxes, I have to get my flat tire fixed! I’m also planning to see The Wrestler Saturday night with my wife. But other than that…oh, and I need to wash the cars. They are feeelthy leetle monkeys! And I’m in the process of planning our trip to New York City, so I need to make some phone calls on that. And look up airfare for the May Oregon workshop, and…
NO! I will keep my pledge! By my troth, I shall tackle my taxes! At least I already got one major thing out of the way: I watched the entire Battlestar Galactica series finale live tonight, in one sitting. I simply couldn’t wait to see how things turned out…to find out the answers to all the mysteries that have been running through the series. What did I think, you ask? Since I personally hate spoilers, I’m going to keep my thoughts to myself for a day or two. Also, I need to think about it a bit more before I make up my mind. So cue up your DVR or DVD or VHS tape and watch the show so I can dish!
Now for today’s travel photo. This one’s a shot of me from Solomon’s Island, Maryland, in 2004. My wife and I visited the area and had a nice, relaxing couple of days. It’s a pretty place. See you tomorrow!
