Though I had big plans for productivity, today turned out to be a crash and burn on the writing side. At least I put the finishing touches on the latest draft of the query letter for my current novel. Also started a new proposal for the same book. I only got one page done on that, but hopefully I can throttle up tomorrow. There was just too much going on today, and my focus slipped from writing to life rolls. It happens. The important thing now is to get some sleep and start fresh tomorrow…pick up where I left off or start over…and finish that proposal. Then finish revisions on the novel manuscript by Monday night, so I can start shopping it around to editors. As I posted yesterday, the book’s burning a hole in my pocket. I want to get it out there, ideally next week, or by the end of the month at the latest. I just think it’s a really good one, and I want people to see it. Cross your fingers that I get enough focused, productive time to hit my writing goals this weekend. See you tomorrow.
