A story of mine appears in the latest issue of the ultra-cool Space and Time Magazine. The story, “The Love Quest of Smidgen the Snack Cake,” is a dark romp through the aisles of a futuristic supermarket, where a snack cake with baked-in intelligence seduces a reluctant customer. It’s a demented tale of twisted baked goods equipped with frightening technology that’s closer than you think. I hope you’ll check it out. I just got my contributor’s copies today, and I think the Space and Time team did a marvelous job presenting my story. The artwork is especially fantastic; I’ll be posting an image here soon, to give you a taste. Meanwhile, here’s a look at the cover:
Check out the latest on Space and Time issue 108 right here. And I hope you’ll pick up a copy and subscribe to the magazine. It’s great stuff! Editor-in-chief Hildy Silverman is upholding a fine and longstanding tradition, continuing the work of the great Gordon Linzner, who started S&T.
I also got some other cool stuff today, but I’ll have to tell you about it later. Fodder for the next blog or three, eh? See you soon!
