What have I been working on lately, you ask? Well, I’ve been pounding away on a new novel, aiming for an end-September completion. I’m almost 60,000 words in, with 20,000 or so to go, so I might just make it in time. What’s it about, you ask? That would be telling! I hate to blab about current projects, at least until they’re done. Suffice it to say, this latest is a mystery, and I’m having a lot of fun with it. It’s my first novel-length mystery, in fact, so it’s been a hoot. Always a good idea to try new genres and expand into new publishing realms. So it’s onward and upward with this one. Then, after some in-between projects (pitches, proposals, short stories, etc.) and a bit of travel for a month, it’ll be full steam ahead on the next novel. This one will be what they call a “tie-in” project, based on a media property…in this case, a game. It promises to be a lot of fun. Meanwhile, I shall type until my hands bleed on the current book. And you’ll be among the first to know where and when you can read it. See you soon!
