In just a few short weeks, I’ll be bound for Oregon and the Marketing Workshop. I’m sure I’ve already said it too many times, but I can’t wait. These workshops in Lincoln City, conducted by my mentors Dean Smith and Kris Rusch, really help me keep going. They’ve got an excellent approach, they’re held in a great location (a rustic inn on the Oregon coast that’s dedicated to writers during our stay), and the attendees are always interesting and helpful. Those fellow writers are all at a similar level, all professionals who are working hard to succeed, and I always learn a lot from them. What a great way to recharge my batteries and help me get through another year…or in this case, a few months. Looks like I’ll be attending another workshop in July at the same place. More on that in a future entry.
